「요코야마 대나무재점」은, 다이쇼 8년(1919년), 교토고쇼의 서쪽 땅에서 명죽 도매상으로서 창업. 자연 소재인 대나무와 장인이 맥들로 계승해 온 전통의 기술을 이용해도 만들기를 계속하는 전통입니다. 여기에서는, 일반의 분이라도 부담없이 대나무를 사용한 공예품 제작을 체험할 수 있는 교실을 개최하고 있습니다.
Everyone in our family really enjoyed the experience of making our own chopsticks, and they will be a great reminder of our tricot Japan. The workshop staff were great and very welcoming and we would definitely recommend
A gorgeous little bamboo basket weaving workshop. I had the earliest morning slot and ended up being the only participant. I have to admit I was in a bit of a hurry and have a lot of birch bark basket weaving experience so ended up weaving up my basket in under 15 min and then dashing to the teachers surprise but we had a lot of fun in that short time and the basket I made turned out gorgeous.
My family enjoyed making our own chopsticks. Great quality and even came with a nice case. The lady was very patient, allowing us to take our time until we felt it was just right. Definitely would recommend
お弁当用のお箸を作って、箸箱と箸袋はプレゼントでした。お箸を小刀で削るときは、削りすぎないか、ばきって割けたりいっちゃうんじゃないかとハラハラでしたが意外にそうでもなく、なんか削っているとそれなりの形に仕上がりました。やすりも使って角をとったりなめらかにできるので、実用的なお箸になります。丁寧に削るところを指導してくださったりするので失敗もなく、無心になる時間が持てたのがよかったです。もう少し長いと普段使いのお箸になるのにな～と思いました。
茶杓作りは初めての経験でしたが大変楽しく時間を過ごすことができました。 竹の種類もいろいろあり気に入ったものを選ぶことができました。 また大変親切に丁寧に教えていただき 無理なく作ることができました 。
