Join me on a guided tour around Muikamachi, Niigata. Starting from Muikamachi Station, less than 2 hours from Tokyo, we'll cycle through Minamiuonuma's rice fields and Niigata's best spring water on our way to the Hak -bikes. At the brewery, we'll explore the story and tradition behind this premium sake, connecting centuries of craftsmanship, heavy snowfall, and pristine water. We'll enjoy a delicious meal featuring onigiri made from local rice ( ). On the way back, we'll stop at a traditional four-season Korean park. We'll return to the station by 15:00, giving you time to explore the local onsen or head back to Tokyo. The tour is design to perfectly fit a day trip from Tokyo. You can arrive by Shinkansen with the JR East Pass, Tokyo Wide Pass or regular ticket and take the local train.
